Is there a Market for: Custom Xbox 360 Controller Buttons.

I was just looking into moulding custom buttons. Basically they'd be made out of high quality resin. They would/could also probably have biult in leds. You'd be able to chose the colours too.
So would anyone be interested?

It'd be cool to have black buttons with white lettering that light up white. I don't know if you can do the lettering though.

I dont think it would be possible to do the lettering. I dont know how the Black with white leds would work. It probably turn out grey.

Yea... it might be cool to just have black buttons though. You could have dyed start and back buttons, a black d-pad, black center button, black triggers....

Along with Black ABXY and a black shell, you'd have a very black controller.

Lets not get racist here What if you went with a white shell though? That might look pretty badass.

Everyone has their own tastes. So do you think you might buy a set if they wee to be made? Do you think there's a market?
Startup costs would be about $90 soI want to know if its worth the investment.

How much do you think you would sell the buttons for? and would you do other buttons on the controller too?

Probably $8-$10 for a set of Start, Back, Gude, A,B,X and Y Including shipping.
What other buttons are there? The Triggers and bumpers? I think those might be tricky but I could try.

Alrighty, well Does anyone else have an interest? Its just a lot of money to put down if theres a chance that I'll never make it back.

I can't say for sure, but it is an interesting possibility. I have been looking into doing some airbrushing stuff on controllers and what not, so custom buttons could be an option for me. So, nothing firm, but a definite maybe on buying some.

Could you create 3d letters? You could make them just like on the 360 now, but sticking out. That could be really cool.

I have already sent you a pm about this....worlds formula referred me to you. i would definately buy them. I want to custom paint a full black controller with WHITE ring of light, WHITE guide button, and WHITE start, back, and ABXY Buttons. thats where i would buy from you. I just think it would turn out really great! I want to mod 3 or 4 controllers so i would buy a couple sets of them. so message me when you might have them available and i would buy them from you.

I've been looking for something like this for ages. How long do you think it will be before you start selling them? I'm painting my controller red atm so I'm thinking black (or white) abxy, guide, and back+start buttons. I'm a senior member on afterdawn.com and I reckon a few people there would be interested (sorry if posting links to other websites is against the rules). You would probably sell a few of them on ebay aswell.
