| What software do you need to open it? The same that you get with the programmer that you recommended? | |

| Yeah. You will plug the code into the software and then program it on the chip.

| Heres about 20 minutes worth of work... Click for mondo size. Click here for non bandwidth killing size. Note* The print out is a mirror image, for toner transfer, I never flipped it back. Whatcha guys think? Supper easy installs. - CollinstheClown | |

| ahhhh, so it's using a bread board. Sweet! I see those on Ebay and think they must be so much easier to install. Have you ever actually done one? How much do the boards cost? Where would you get the correct board? It looks like it uses more resistors than what this Hex needs. For a CG, you only need 1 100 ohm resistor. Sorry if my statements seem dumb, I am totally clueless when it comes to that type of electronics, it's all I can do to figure out what resistor to use lol. EDIT: Duh, never mind, that is a matrix setup you made. Steve

| Ahh I'm still waiting on the programmer so I can open it, but are the instructions visible there? Like which pins power, trigger, which resistors you need etc. | |

Steve Not a breadboard, a custom circuit board. these things can be etched at home for pretty checp but it won't have the pretty green(or another color) solder mask, and it wont have the silk screen(lettering). Take a look at my avatar. That's my "auto strumbar" guitar hero mod. (helped me finally beat Raining blood on expert) It basically a 555 rapid fire, with adjustable speed knobs. I had the made at Silver Circuits. 16 PCBs cost me $94. I did an estimate fro the Matrix Sleeper chips and it comes out to like $2.67 per chip when you get 100 made. - CollinstheClown | |

| Very cool! I always wondered what the heck your avatar pic was . That sure would make doing the matrix controllers easier, but I'm not really interested in spending $267. I think I would rather sell off the matrix controllers and just work with CG's vs. spending that kind of money. IDK. Steve | |

| As long as we sell the chip for like $10-$15, we would get it back in no time.
However, I agree and really don't wanna spend that kinda money. I was just bored and threw that together real quick. However, if anyone wants the .pdf let me know. Its already mirrored and ready for printing. Just make sure you use a laser printer and high gloss paper. Something like transparency paper.

| Were screwed actually. I can't fire past a certain rate with my finger, and that rate isn't fast at all. And no, it wasn't when I was mod blocked. | |

| Its slowing everything down from the first shot not capping like cod5. My cod4 and cod5 mode still work on it they're just slower than before. But burst mode doesn't work enough to use it. | |

| It might get changed again with the first patch on cod5 you could set off the cap with your finger. I wondered if they changed the filters because of that, cause it didn't eliminate rf it just made it faster. | |
