Rapid fire Hex

Hey-
I have a bunch of rapid fire chips that are now outdated because of the new patch. Can a new Hex be reprogrammed into my old chips? If so, where do I go to get a new Hex code? There is a guy on Ebay, but he wants $150 for the code, I was hoping to find it cheaper. Heck, I would be willing to send the chips and have them reprogrammed if that was cheap enough.

I'd be up for that too if someone can reprogram them. Fortunately I only have two extra chips and a few friends that don't play COD5 so still might be able to get them out.

Well I don't have the equipment to program the chips. If someone gets it, could they program my chips for me?

Ok, good to know, I was going to bid, but no sense in us bidding against each other. If it goes higher than you want, I will kick in and we can make this a group project. how's that sound? Also, I have a subscription to a sniping service, so if you want me to do the bidding, we can decide on a final price and snipe it, no need in running up the bid way before it is over.

On another note... I just found someone offering hex code that includes future updates. They want $199, which is pricey I know, but if we all chipped in, it might be do-able. Just a thought since it would cover us for any future updates, which we know will happen, most certainly on Modern Warfare 2.

Thought you guys might want to know...I just got an email from a guy I asked about his hex code, which is $150. He said he would include future updates also, including MW2.

I don't think MW2 will need any updates. Its Infinity Ward, and it'll be based off of COD4. COD4 never got any updates for rapid fire, even though COD5 shows its clearly possible to do so. I think they might just leave MW2 at the same firing level as COD4.

Well, if they do, I would like to know I will get the code for them. Hopefully MW2 won't need a work around, but I'm thinking it will.

Well I think it'll need a work around, but one of the speeds will probably already work. I guess if you want the 'best' rapid fire, you'd need those updates.

My current chip still works on the 3 shot burst mode, go faster, and it's detected. But I like the 3 shot mode, I think it's a little more accurate with less recoil, especially when tracking a moving target. I still want these chips I have reprogrammed cause I can't sell a rapid fire with 1 mode that works in COD5. not for a decent profit anyway.

Alrighty, I just got an email from a guy who is willing to sell his current and all future hex codes for $50, Like I said, I dont really have more than $10 to pitch in, If people want to kick in the remainder I'll buy it from him.

What code are we talking about, for example: does it work on COD5? On XBL? How many modes? What PIC does it use? How do you change modes? All the usual stuff I would like to know and if it's what I want, I will kick in.

Dunno, just doesn't seem right to make money off of someone else's work.

I'd try my hand at making my own code, but I'm not that familiar with programming nor do I have the equipment or the games. haha
